Umashankar V | President | Manipal K 12

Umashankar is currently the President of the Manipal K-12 programme. With over 25 years of varied experience, 15 years in the IT sector and almost a decade in the field of education, he brings in expertise from various industries. In addition to working in the private sector, he has extensive experience in working with governments and governmental agencies.

Umashankar was the Vice President and Business Head of IL&FS Education and Technology Services Ltd. where he was responsible for building the K-10 brand. He has been interacting with schools pan India for over 5 years.

Umashankar has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Madras University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi.
